Do you find it difficult to connect your children to Samoan culture living outside of Samoa? Tamaiti can help teach your child Samoan language and culture through fun and informative videos.

We use arts and crafts, activities, play, singing, dancing and even yoga to teach your child Samoan words and Samoan culture. We also include a workbook that enhances the learning outside of the videos.

Tamaiti means children and this program is aimed at children aged 0 to 5 (although some older children may enjoy it too). We have an Early Childhood Educator Adviser to ensure what we teach is in line with Australian Early Childhood Framework. Also perfect for Child Care Centres wanting to introduce regular diverse content to their programming.

Penn State Extension have found "Diversity activities teach young children to respect and celebrate the differences in all people. Learning about different cultural aspects offers new experiences for children. It also helps them realize that we’re all humans, despite differences in how we look or dress, or what we eat or celebrate. Games and activities offer a fun way for young children to learn about differences and similarities among people and to introduce the concept of diversity. All types of differences such as race, religion, language, traditions, and gender can be introduced this way."

Tamaiti supports Child Care Centres, Preschools and Kindergartens to build culturally diverse programs so that they can become more inclusive.
